The work became personal before it became a curriculum.
Becoming a father forced me to reflect on my own life, where I was still growing, and what I wished had been more intentionally formed in me as a boy.
I realized I could not simply tell my son what kind of man to become. I had to model it. And the truth is, I am still becoming that man.
My journey into manhood has been shaped by both what I received and what was missing. I grew up without the consistent presence and guidance of my father.
Some lessons came through Scripture, some through mentors, and others through experience and failure. Some of the deepest came through discovering God as Father.
That experience shaped a lifelong commitment to helping others grow and gave BECOMING its central conviction: boys need men who will walk with them on purpose.
